We are pleased to announce that Tenna Harrison, President of Harris Insurance, and her brother, Jeff Harrison, Vice-President, recently completed the IA-MBA program. Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America and the state association, Big I KY, partnered with GoalMakers, LLC, to offer the IA-MBA, a mini-MBA program consisting of the foundations of a traditional MBA curriculum but focused specifically for the needs of current and future leaders of independent insurance agencies. The intensive ten-week program covered the best practices of organizational leadership, planning, and finances for independent agencies. The material was delivered through combined independent study, live sessions, and networking cohort groups of fellow agents from throughout the country and included a comprehensive final exam.
Their participation in the program is a continuation of the long-standing Harris Insurance tradition of agent professional development as well as dedication to continual improvement and application of industry best practices to serve our clients at the highest level.
